PDP Presidential aspirant and former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi met with leaders and delegates in Imo and Abia States on Thursday, 21st April 2021.
The Chairman of the PDP in Abia State, Rt Hon Asiforo Okere led other members of the State Executive Committee, leaders and delegates of the Party to receive Mr. Peter Obi in Umuahia, while the Imo State PDP chairman, Charles Ugwu, led other members of the State Executive Committee, leaders and delegates of the Party to receive Mr. Peter Obi in Owerri.
The Abia State PDP Chairman, Hon Asiforo Okere, described Obi as “a fine material in whom Abia, Igboland and Nigeria are proud of.” Okere informed Obi that Abia PDP delegates would take the right decision on the day of the primary polls. In Owerri, the Imo State PDP Chairman, Charles Ugwu, said the Imo chapter of the party will support Obi to realise his presidential ambition stating that “We know your mission is to rebuild Nigeria. May God give you all you need to achieve that”.
While addressing the delegates and leaders of the Party, Mr. Peter Obi noted that the first way to fight crime and criminality is through the natural way by providing opportunities for Nigerians to have means of livelihood. He told the delegates that he had the capacity to reset Nigeria on the path to becoming a productive country.
