I salute the Nigerian Bar Association, Minna Branch as it holds its Annual Law Week, 2002, themed “Law and Democracy: Progress, Challenges and Prospects’ which takes place from the 3rd to 9th of June, 2022,
There is no doubt that for Democracy to strive rule of law must be adhered to. Therefore, the Law must prevail at all times. The major challenge to Democracy is indiscipline, impunity and insincerity of both the political leaders and the citizens. I have no doubt in the capacity of the erudite resource persons enlisted for the Law Week to do justice to the very well thought out Theme accordingly.
I wish the Branch Chairman and officers, the Branch leaders and the entire members of Minna Branch fruitful deliberations and a very successful Law Week.
