The presidential campaign council (PCC) expressed readiness to work for the victory of Sen. Bola Tinubu, Gov. Bello Matawalle and all APC candidates contesting for various positions in the 2023 elections in Zamfara State.
The council,in a statement issued on Monday by its state APC Publicity Secretary, Malam Yusuf Idris said the PCC Coordinator in the state, Sen. Kabiru Marafa stated this at the maiden meeting of the council held at the Government House, Gusau.
Idris said: “The maiden meeting was convened to map out comprehensive plans and strategies for the success of all the party’s candidates in the state.
“The activities of the council will be all inclusive to all critical stakeholders of the party for the victory of the party.
“Sen. Marafa said that a working document has already been designed to guide the conduct and operation of the committee in the state while other sub-committees will be constituted from polling units to the state level.”
He also called for hard work and dedication among the state committee members.
Idris quoted Marafa as saying, “the calibre of people in the state committee is convincing enough for a more formidable and strong political mobilisation in the campaign train.
“The Coordinator commended the APC National leadership for appointing Gov. Bello Matawalle as the North West Campaign Coordinator.
“He described the appointment as a special honour to the good people of Zamfara.”
