Last week Thursday, the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel in Lagos, marking a significant shift in leadership. The former President, Ayodele Akintunde SAN, handed over the reins to Chimezie Victor Ihekwazu SAN, a momentous occasion signaling a new era for the association.
Elections during the AGM resulted in the re-election of council members Prince Yusuf Asamah Kadiri SAN, Mr. Mike Igbokwe SAN (PhD), and Dr. Adebola Olubanjo, while welcoming new faces to the council: Dr. Kubi Udofia, Mr. Kuti Olujide, Dr. Nwuke Okechukwu, Chief Umeh Philip Ndubuisi SAN, Mr. Olumide Bidemi Daniel, and Mr. Lotanna Chuka Okoli, SAN.
The newly inaugurated executives, led by President Mr. CVC Ihekweazu SAN, expressed gratitude to past leaders for their groundwork. Ihekweazu emphasized an open-door policy to foster collaboration and innovation among BRIPAN members.
The AGM also celebrated the induction of 72 Associates and 13 Fellows, underlining the association’s continuous growth and commitment to its members’ professional development.
The event culminated in an End of the Year party, marking not only the conclusion of the AGM but also the beginning of a promising chapter under the guidance of BRIPAN’s new leadership.
