The Nigerian Bar Association is delighted to join the rest of the global community to commemorate this year’s International Women’s Day. 8 March every year is set aside to celebrate our women and their outstanding achievements and contributions to the society. This year’s event is no different, and as an association we are taking the time to celebrate all the female members of the legal profession who have done their bit for the advancement of the legal profession and the betterment of our world.
The NBA has consistently maintained the position that, for us to achieve transformative change in the world, issues relating to gender equality and empowerment must be prioritized and addressed head-on. We are, therefore, happy to identify with the theme of this year’s event: DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality.
