I am writing to express my deepest condolences on the loss of a distinguished member of the legal profession and Nigerian Bar Association Lagos Branch, MR. ABIOYE AKERELE.
I have known Mr Akerele for many years. Till his death, he was a great supporter and friend. I knew him for his loyalty, tireless service and dedication to the legal community. He was a commendable man who left an ineradicable mark on the Bar and my heart.
Although we deeply feel his loss, it is comforting to recognize that Mr. Akerele impacted countless individuals and left a legacy that will inspire future generations of legal professionals. Despite his physical absence, his influence and impact continue to endure.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, members of the Lagos Branch, and all members of the Nigerian Bar Association who had the honour of knowing him.
May his legacy continue to shine, and may his tireless commitment and valuable contributions to the legal profession bring solace in this trying period.
