A leading Candidate for the position of Assistant General Secretary in the forthcoming NBA elections extends his greetings and felicitations to all Muslims faithful on the occasion of the celebration of Eid-ul Adha.
According to the former Welfare Secretary and immediate past Vice Chairman of the Ilorin branch, this year’s eid celebration calls for a sober reflection about the affairs of our dear nation and the need to urgently rescue it from total collapse.
He calls on persons of all faiths to imbibe the spirit of tolerance towards one another and live in harmony for our individual good and the good of all. He states further that, being of a particular faith or creed should never divide us as a people. Thus, he encouraged all persons to permit peaceful coexistence at all times. That he says is the spirit and teaching of Islam as exhibited by Prophet Ibraheem (AS) and emphasized by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
He prays for a peaceful NBA elections and urges all candidates to put the interest of the bar first and shun vices and utterance capable of undermining the electoral process and our dear Association.
He appreciates his supporters and urges them all to stick to the DAB project for the overall interest of the Association.
