Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has opened up on the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He predicted ‘more turbulence’ for the party in a tweet posted on his verified page.
According to him, unless immediate action is taken to stop the situation, the internal crisis roiling the PDP may worsen.

Fayose continued, saying that earlier he had held back from publicly discussing the situation in the hopes that things would improve, but that he has since come to the conclusion that if nothing is done immediately, things will only get worse.
Finally, he hoped that his counsel would be heeded.
His tweet reads: “I see more serious turbulence for PDP more than ever before. I have been silent all this while hoping that things will get better. I advise we do more than we are doing now to resolve this crisis as events in days/weeks ahead may likely get messier. I pray this advice is not ignored.”
