The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria, Badagry Branch, is set to host the FIDA Nigeria Badagry Branch Lagos State 2023 Law Week from December 6th to 8th at the De Santiago Milan Hotel, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State. Themed “Empower a Woman, Empower a Girl Child, Empower the World,” the event aims to delve into critical issues surrounding legal empowerment for women and girls.
Joyce Oduah, Chairperson of the Law Week Planning Committee, expressed confidence, stating that the event promises to be great and enlightening, offering a platform for meaningful dialogue on women’s empowerment within the legal framework. Mrs. Adaku Mbama, Chairperson of FIDA Nigeria, Badagry Branch, leads the charge, emphasizing the pivotal role of the law in effecting positive change. The Keynote Speaker, Titilayo Akinlawon, SAN, is expected to bring her wealth of legal expertise to the forefront, while a panel of distinguished legal luminaries, including Abimbola Akeredolu, SAN, Jean Chiazor Anishere, SAN, and Olumide Kayode-Omosebi, will contribute insights on the empowerment landscape.
