[FULL STATEMENT]: NBA PRESIDENT CONDEMNS INTRUSION OF THE RESIDENCE OF HIS LORDSHIP, THE PRESIDING JUSTICE OF THE COURT OF APPEAL BY AGENTS OF THE EFCC

In what appeared to be an unclear scenario, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly broke into the residence of Justice Ita Mbaba, the presiding justice of the Court of Appeal, Kano Division.

The NBA President, YC Maikyau SAN has however released a statement condemning the said intrusion. The notice of the Statement was released by the NBA Publicity Secretary.

This morning we woke up to the news of yet another intrusion by security agencies on the house of another Judicial Officer, this time, the Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal, Kano Division, Hon. Justice Ita Mbaba.

The NBA President has since the news broke, been involved in getting to root of this untoward incident.

Please find attached the statement of the NBA President iterating the steps taken by the NBA leadership so far, and the demands we have made of the EFCC.
