Joyce Oduah, FICMC has served as the National Treasurer of the NBA between 2012 and 2014. She introduced the NBA Bar Code and Customized Teller for payment of the Bar Practicing Fees (“BPF”). This was a swift response to curtail the hardship and burden occasioned on lawyers as a result of the old unorganized payment system. This increased the revenue of the Branches tremendously. For example NBA Lagos with Code 058 got the sum of N6,050,000.00 in 2013 from the National instead of the sum of N400,000.00. She has served as a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) under Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN (2008-2010), Okechukwu Wali, SAN (2012 – 2014), Augustine Alegeh, SAN (2014 – 2016) and Abubakar Balarabe Mahmoud, SAN (2016–2018). She was a Member, NBA National Secretariat House Fund Raising Committee and NBA Finance Committee from 2012 to 2014. She was also a Member of the NBA Technical Committee on Conference Planning (“TCCP”) from 2014 to 2015.
