My distinguished Colleagues,
Today marks the beginning of July, and it is exactly 29 days to the NBA National Elections that will usher in new leaders to pilot the affairs of the largest Bar Association in Africa for the next 2 years.
While I encourage us to choose leaders who will think of what to do for the NBA instead of what the NBA can do for them, I also enjoin us not to allow our diverse political affiliiations to divide us. We must continually foster unity in our great association. For it is only when we unite that we can build the NBA of our dreams. Remember, as lawyers, we have a duty to treat one another with respect, fairness and dignity, and not to allow our personal interests whatsoever to influence our conduct and attitude towards one another.
It is my prayer and desire that we continue to remain a blessing to our family, Nigeria and our noble Association. Do have a great month of July.

NBA National Treasurer, 2012-2014
