Katsina State Government has declared today and Friday as work-free days for his employees to enable them turn out en masse to receive President Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari arrived Katsina Wednesday night from Dakar, Senegal after attending an international conference on agriculture.
He had earlier taken part in the APC presidential rally in Bauchi, from where he left for Lagos to commission a host of iconic projects, including the Lekki Deep Sea Port and the Lagos Blue Line.
The Permanent Secretary of the state’s Ministry of Culture and Home Affairs, Alhaji Sani Kabomo said Buhari will inaugurate some projects executed by the administration of Gov. Aminu Masari.
He said the work free days would not affect Federal Civil Service, bank workers and essential service providers.
Kabomo also advised people in the state to exhibit a high sense of decorum and traditional hospitality during the visit.
