Yesterday, Tuesday, 11th January, 2020, was the day Charles Ajiboye, FICMC was inducted as a member of the prestigious Ikoyi club 1938.
According to Wikipedia, Ikoyi Club was established as a European club in 1938 in Ikoyi, Lagos. It occupies approximately 456 acres of land. In the subsequent years, the European Club merged with the Lagos Golf Club. Besides the golf course, which is arguably the best in the country, the over 80 year old club also has many sports and relaxation amenities which provides first class facilities for members and their families.
Today, the club has grown from its exclusively European membership to one of the largest mutli-racial entities in Nigeria with membership of people of diverse nationalities. It is described as an elite club of some of Nigeria’s most aristocratic families.
Who is Charles Ajiboye?
Charles Ajiboye is the Executive Partner at The Penthouse Law and Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja.
