Seyi Awolowo has promised to vote for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu during the march 11 governorship election in Lagos.
Awolowo, a former Big Brother Naija who is also the son of the late chairman of African Newspapers Limited, made the promise on Sunday while speaking at the Magodo Town Hall meeting with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
He confirmed that he voted Labour Party during the presidential election but said Sanwo-Olu deserved another term as governor of Lagos state.
The grandson of Chief Obafemi Awolowo further described Sanwo-Olu as a governor who loves the people and does a lot for the youth.
He noted that the ASUU Strike did not affect any of the Lagos Tertiary Institutions which was a good thing for the youths adding that Mr. Governor also managed the affairs of the State well.
Seyi added that the only issue anyone can lay claim to is EndSars, which was clearly not in control of the Governor.
Seyi, however, promised to rally his friends and colleagues to support Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a Second term.
