OKEY WALI, SAN, FCArb, DSSRS who graduated from the University of Buckingham, Buckingham, UK, is the principal partner of Okey Wali & Co. He
has been in active legal practice for over 35 years, representing indigent clients and providing exceptional and highly effective legal services in all areas of law.
Okey Wali is a notable member of the Nigerian Bar Association and served as Chairman, of the Port Harcourt Branch of the NBA from 1998 to 2000. He has also served as a notable member of the Council of Legal Education from 1998 to 2006. In July 2007, he was appointed the HON. ATTORNEY GENERAL & COMMISSIONER OF JUSTICE RIVERS STATE. In appreciation of his dedication to the legal profession, he was recognised and elevated to the prestigious rank of SENIOR ADVOCATE OF NIGERIA (SAN) in 2007. Mr Wali served as the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) from August 2012 to August 2014, and was appointed a Life Bencher in 2016. He holds the Rivers State honours as a Distinguished Service Star of Rivers State (DSSRS).
