People and event are known by what one read, heard and saw. Yinka as is fondly called by his admirers is a person who God has made to be great in life. God made everything easy for him and he doesn’t take it for granted. He assiduously works as if he didn’t know that the future belongs to him. We lived in the same estate late 80s to 90s. Amongst his peers or age group, he exuded leadership traits that made them stayed glued to him.
As if he was following me, he attended same primary school with me and joined me in Acquinas College Akure where we had our secondary school education. He climbed those classes with glamour seamlessly. One would have thought that he would read statistical related course to show his unflinching astuteness for brevity and brilliance in core curriculum, but he opted to read law and one can imagine what an individual with the aforementioned colours will do with law and practice?
Aside his pure knowledge of law, he is super respectful and humble. He writes just like his oratory speeches flow unhindered. He is a team player with problem solving skills to his advantage. Law is lucky to have him read it. Law is lucky to have him practice it. Lawyers are extremely lucky to have him among them. Teaming lawyers would count their blessings if he is given the opportunity to serve the NBA at this critical time of our dear Association
Words will fail me if I continue to dwell on personal attributes I know of this young, vibrant, moving library, erudite scholar and quintessential gentleman.
