The Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference came to a remarkable end with the Medical/Surgical Outreach benefited by well over 3000 people. The impact of this Medical/Surgical Outreach was profound as beneficiaries who might not otherwise have had access to these essential medical services received needed attention that improved their quality of life.
A total number of 3,290 patients were attended to with 1,089 screened at the surgical clinic and 109 surgeries carried out.
This initiative which underscores the commitment of the current NBA leadership to the welfare and well-being of members of the profession and the society at large, provided several individuals with free access to a range of medical services including health screenings, consultations with medical practitioners, surgery and free drugs.
This outreach is a collaborative effort of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Government of Kebbi State as part of the programmes for the 2023 NBA-AGC. It was indeed remarkable.
