A plea for an interim injunction to overturn Joyce Oduah’s suspension as the general secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association while the main lawsuit is being resolved was denied by a high court in Abia State.
Victor Nwaugo, a supporter and associate of the GS who was suspended, had already brought a case against her recent suspension at the High Court of Abia State.
The indicted General Secretary also filed a similar suit at the Federal High Court in Abuja, asking for the same orders to reverse her suspension.
The National Executive Committee suspended Lady Joyce Oduah for willful neglect of duty and serious misconduct.
