In the buildup to the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) 2024 Annual General Conference Conference, on Friday, the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN, along with several key bar figures paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The meeting aimed to boost collaboration, productivity and engagement, goodwill, as well as promote solidarity and strategic understanding between the Lagos State and the NBA, to guarantee a successful conference that meets the expectations of lawyers and the general public.
Also present at the meeting were: NBA General Secretary, Mr. Adesina Adegbite; the Chairman of the NBA 2024 Transition Committee, Olawale Fapohunda, SAN; the Chairperson of the 2024 AGC Planning Committee, Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, and the Alternate Chair, Mrs. Amina Suleiman Kaoje.
Reaffirming his commitment to supporting the NBA as customary, Governor Sanwo-Olu promised to make all the state’s facilities and agencies’ services available to the Association to ensure adequate security and overall success of the 2024 AGC.
