The Nigerian Bar Association Section on Legal Practice (NBA-SLP) under the leadership of Chief Ferdinand Orbih (SAN) has appointed eminent lawyers to pilot the affairs of its committees.
They are Wale Akoni (SAN) for Alternative Dispute Resolution; Ken Njemanze (SAN), Civil Litigation; Elisha Kura (SAN), Constitutional and Administration Law; Paul Harris Ogbole (SAN), Criminal Litigation and Oladipo Tolani, Democratic Process and Electoral Litigation.
Others are Mrs. Nancy Obinwa, Family Law and Child Right; Dr. Valerie Azinge (SAN), International Legal Practice, Cross Border and Financial Malpractice; Mrs. Folashade Alli, Law Firm Management; Godwin Omoaka (SAN), Judges Forum; Olaolu Osanyin, Medicine and Law and Akinola Sadiq for Young Litigators.
According to Orbih, the team is well balanced.
He said that the competence of the appointees was the motivation behind their selection.
“As can be gleaned from the appointees, the team is well balanced between youth and experience.
“The common thread connecting all the appointees is excellence of the highest standard. They have all distinguished themselves in their chosen fields of legal practice,” he said, adding that SLP usually drives its agenda through committees.
