Oluwaseun Aka Esq. Calls for Support in Second Bid for NBA National Assistant General Secretary – Vows to Enhance Secretariat Operations

ELECTION 2024

LETTER TO NBA MEMBERS

FROM: OLUWASEUN AKA ESQ.

Distinguished Learned Silks, Seniors and Colleagues.

It gives me great joy to write to you all in respect of the above captioned. Let me appreciate you all for your support and words of encouragement thus far. I do not take it for granted.

It is no longer a news that I am contesting for the position of National Assistant General Secretary of our great association the second time having vied for the same position in 2022 wherein I lost to my dear brother the current AGS, Daniel Kip Esq. I must admit that contesting any position in the NBA is not for the faint hearted. It is an Herculean task that drains in all wise everything from the candidate. But the joy of winning almost wipes off the near horrendous experience of contesting. You will also agree with me that it takes nothing short of sheer determination and the zeal to serve one’s association that ignited my contesting the second time for the same position.

I have experienced defeat before now and I do not wish to go through that trajectory again, this forms the basis for my writing this letter to you all. I have embarked on s modest campaign and crisscrossed the the length and breath of this country in an effort to get your support. I have visited and reached out to almost all branches and for those I am yet to visit, it is not deliberate.

I am now using this medium to reach out to all of you, come 20th day July 2024 being the next Saturday, please vote me as your next AGS.

My manifesto is on www.ecnba.org where I have highlighted what I will strive to achieve as your next AGS when voted.

I have deliberately refrained from using unachievable programmes for YLF as another campaign gimmicks which has now become a bi-annual rituals. I therefore promise our young lawyers and indeed the forum that in the scheme of things I WILL ALWAYS ACT IN YOUR BEST INTEREST.

Having served as a former Assistant Secretary, Branch Secretary both offices of Ikorodu Branch and a NEC member, I have everything it takes to add value to the office of the GS as an invaluable AGS.

I promise you all that I will be AGS and more, you will be glad you overwhelmingly voted for me. My main assignment will be to ensure my GS succeeds and we have a better and improved Secretariat.

I can not wait to rejoice with you all immediately results are announced.

Thank you so much and God bless you all.

Yours sincerely

Seun Aka Esq.
Candidate for Assistant General Secretary.
