Proud FIDAN, Joyce Oduah FICMC, extends her heartfelt greetings and best wishes to FIDA Lagos at the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 Law Week, themed Gender Based Violence – Stemming the Tide.

In her goodwill message, Joyce, a special guest at the occasion, expressed profound pride in the incredible work and tireless commitment that FIDA Lagos has consistently demonstrated. She noted proudly that FIDA Lagos has truly become an oasis of hope and change for disadvantaged women, children, and the vulnerable in Lagos state and beyond.

She noted that the theme of the Law Week: “Gender Based Violence – Stemming the Tide”, is of great significance, as it highlights the urgent need for collective efforts to address gender-based violence and promote justice and equality. Joyce’s confidence in the success and impact of the Law Week was clear.

Joyce acknowledged the remarkable impact FIDA Lagos has made over the years, thanks to its dedicated members and their various activities and initiatives, such as pro bono services, legal representation, and community outreach programs. Together, they have touched countless lives and provided a lifeline to those in need. She expressed her deep pride in being part of such an outstanding association, “I am proud to stand alongside each of my fellow FIDANs as we continue to make a significant difference in our community.”

Joyce encouraged everyone to reaffirm their shared commitment to promoting gender equality, advocating for social justice, and eliminating violence against women. She emphasised that their collective strength and dedication will undoubtedly pave the way for a brighter future.
