Remuneration Committee Chairman Pays Advocacy Visit to Delta State Ministry of Justice

Delta State, Nigeria – The Chairman of the Remuneration Committee has led a delegation on an advocacy visit to the Delta State Ministry of Justice as part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with the Remuneration Order 2023.

The delegation was warmly received by Ohwovoriole Ekemejero, SAN., the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Delta State, alongside Amamuzu Erebe, Esq., the Delta State Solicitor General.

During the engagement, the Solicitor General assured the delegation that all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) of the Delta State Government were in full compliance with the Remuneration Order 2023, reinforcing the state’s commitment to upholding fair compensation standards for legal practitioners.

As part of the advocacy efforts, the delegation also paid a courtesy visit to Peter Mrakpor, SAN, the Chairman of the NBA Asaba Branch Remuneration Committee. The delegation commended the branch’s efforts and pledged full support for its initiatives aimed at ensuring improved remuneration for lawyers within the state.
