The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has re-appointed Fatai Idowu Onafowote, as Director-General of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (PPA) for a second and final four-year term.
The approval for the re-appointment of Onafowote as Director-General of the Agency was conveyed in a letter signed by the Head of Service of the State, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
According to the Head of Service, the re-appointment of Onafowote as Director-General was in recognition of his “integrity, selfless service and record of impressive performance”.
The Head of Service expressed the hope that Onafowote would bring his wealth of experience to bear on the mandate of the Agency and that he would continue to justify the confidence reposed in him by the State Governor.
Onafowote was first appointed and confirmed as Director-General of the Agency for a four-year tenure in December, 2018.
He was employed into the Civil Service of Lagos State a little over three decades ago and has served the State in several capacities since then.
