Tobenna Erojikwe, a partner at The Law Crest LLP in Lagos, heads the Energy, Finance & Major Projects Team. With an LL.B from the University of Nigeria and an LLM in Corporate Finance Law from the University of Westminster, he’s a Nigerian Bar member (2000) and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales (2005).

During his two-decade legal career, including ten years in England, Tobenna held significant roles such as Senior Solicitor in London Borough of Barnet and Legal Adviser to various urban regeneration boards and committees. Renowned for his involvement in groundbreaking Energy, PPP projects, and corporate finance deals in Nigeria, he’s recognized as a leading Energy and Natural Resources Expert by Who’s Who Legal.

His achievements include leading The Law Crest LLP’s team to win the IFLR 1000 restructuring deal of the year for Sub-Saharan Africa in 2020. Tobenna’s extensive involvement in legal bodies is evident through his membership in the National Judicial Council, chairmanship of the Governing Board of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education of the Nigerian Bar Association, and participation in various NBA committees, including the National Executive Council and Technical Committee on Conference Planning. He also served on the Enugu State Government Transition Committee. Additionally, he holds board positions in notable Nigerian companies and chaired the Policy Development and Project Implementation Team during Olumide Akpata’s NBA administration.
