I congratulate the Executive Committee, Members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Benin Branch [The Lion Bar] and members of the Law Week Planning Committee who have worked tirelessly to ensure the success of their 2020 Virtual Law Week.
I must commend the members of the Planning Committee for adapting with the latest technological trend in the face of the Pandemic and most importantly on the choice of this year’s Law Week theme ; LEGAL PRACTICE IN AN EVOLVING WORLD: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS.
It is my firm belief that the bar week will be an Avenue filled with intellectual discussion, to enable each and every one of us to examine the present-day challenges affecting the Legal Profession and to offer appropriate solutions, in-COVID and Post-COVID.
It is my prayer that you have a hitch-free law week whilst embracing the use of technology.
