Use Timothy Adegoke’s Case To Revamp Image Of The Police, Lawyer Tells IGP

Ogunade, who wrote an open letter to the IGP on behalf of the deceased family, urged the police boss to set up a specialised homicide team to investi­gate the matter, saying, the manner at which the Osun State Command had been handling the matter was worrisome.

It would be recalled that the deceased, Timothy Ade­goke Oludare, a Chartered Accountant from Eruwa, Oyo State, was declared missing by his family af­ter he left Abuja on Friday November 5, 2021 to Akure airport foro Ife.

He later lodged at Hil­ton Hotel at Ile Ife in Osun state.

Chief Ramon Adedoyin, Chairman of Hilton Hotel and Resort where the de­ceased lodged and six oth­er persons, were indicted in the alleged murder of Timothy Adegoke and they have since been arrested by the police.
